Online cash register for group of 3 retail shops
The owner of a (small) retail chain wanted to know at the end of the day what had been going on in the shops and what needed to be shipped from the central warehouse to each store. He also wanted to be able to predict the inventory levels based on historical data. (This is where my APICS certification came in handy). The results of the cash registers fed to the accounting application the customer had.

Centralised client administration for decentralised NGO
An NGO served clients in giving them advice on specific questions regarding immigration and integration. They had three offices and after a while began to notice some people asking the same questions in all three offices. Because there files where not centralised, the NGO could not tell. They asked me to make an application that could do this. The focus was on registering the customers and semantically searching for customers.

Shared patient administration and online appointment calendar for group of doctors
The doctors on call, did not always know important medical information of the patients. This was a problem. They also wanted a central system of registering appointments and to allow patients to book an appointment trough the Internet. Their call-center needed access too.

Someone wanted to make a site around a specific band, promoting affiliate products. He let me make an application where he could upload the lyrics and maintain them. And automatically link to Amazon.com
